It's Allison here and in just a minute I’ll share how you can participate in a mutually beneficial groundbreaking event in Atlanta called Small Businesses Giving BIG!

 

On Thursday October 29, 2009, GreatSmallBusinessAdvice.com, eWomen Network of Atlanta, ANI Creative along with other small business owners will host a full day of business development workshops called “Small Businesses Giving  BIG!”  At this event, you will be joined by other business coaches, consultants and other B2B business owners who are giving away (yes, giving away as in no charge and for FREE!), revenue-boosting strategies and tools for creating business success.  In our current economic times, this is sure to be a once-in-a-lifetime, blockbuster event attracting a swarm of small business owners in your target market in and around Atlanta.

 

Who are the attendees?

 

The attendees of this event will be consultants, coaches, trainers, speakers, financial advisors, and other solo entrepreneurs who are looking to grow their businesses.  Unlike other business development conferences of this kind, attendees will not be charged a monetary fee.  They will register by donating specific quantities of food, toiletries, and other supplies needed by the benefiting charity, My Sister’s House.  This event will be a non-stop cycle of giving to benefit all!

 

Based in Atlanta, Georgia, My Sister’s House is a division of Atlanta Union Mission.  It is a  charity that caters to women in transition including single parent families headed by mothers.  They provide emergency shelter, meals, personal care items, and clothing to those in need.  They also provide life skills and parenting classes and they serve numerous counties here in Georgia.

Remember, this is business NOT as usual.  Instead of requesting cash sponsorships, we are asking for participation in terms of services and contributions at a few different levels:

 

“Big Heart” Venue Sponsor

Venue sponsors are invited to donate a event location for this event.  Location to include large room for all attendees and also small rooms for breakout sessions.  Sponsor receives:

  • Visibility and acknowledgement on event web site

  • Announcements acknowledging sponsor during appropriate events

  • Table space in registration area


"Bon Appetit" Menu Sponsor

Menu sponsors are invited to donate snacks or a meal at this event.  We are expecting approximately 150 participants. 

 

$250 Menu Sponsor receives:

  • A display table at the event

  • Ability to distribute promotional materials to all attendees

  • Visibility and acknowledgement on front page of event web site

  • Link from event web site to your website

  • You may attend any of the sessions at the event

  • Acknowledgement in the online Program Guide and all other promotional materials

$500 Menu Sponsor Receives:

  • A few minutes to speak in front of 150 business owners to promote your business

  • A display table at the event

  • Ability to distribute promotional materials to all attendees

Big Vision sponsors are invited to donate one of the following items which represents the top 3 needs at My Sister’s House.  The single moms need disposable diapers for their kids and the facility is in need of replacement cribs and mattresses.

  • 5 twin mattresses

  • 100 packages of disposable diapers

  • 200 packages of disposable diapers

Sponsor receives:

“Memorable Giving” Videography/Photography Sponsor

Videographers/photographers are invited to donate their services at this event.  If you are experienced in your profession and want to be the featured videographer or photographer for this event, you can help by:

  • Capturing the day including keynote, breakout sessions and donation activity

  • Providing videos/photos for our web site

  • Possibly videotaping promotional videos for website etc.

  • Being speedy in turning around final photos and videos after the event

  • Helping us promote the event through exposure to your networks

Videographer/Photographer sponsors receive:

Small Biz Expert sponsors are invited to donate their expertise at this event.  Experts will host their own 45 min breakout session on a topic relevant to solo entrepreneurs and micro business owners and keep in mind, most attendees are selling professional services.  Here's how you can become an Expert Sponsor:

  • You'd like to donate a 45-min breakout session (possible with one repeat if yours becomes a high-interest topic based on sign-ups)

  • You've often been told you are an engaging speaker

  • You have a content-rich topic solo entrepreneurs would find very valuable

  • You've had at least 3 prior speaking engagements and can provide at least 2 references from former event hosts.

  • You'd be happy to help us promote the event through exposure to your connections and networks

IMPORTANT:  Space is limited in this category and host committee members do receive preference for speaker spots (see below) .  Topic must also be approved by Host Committee.

 

Expert Speaker Sponsor receives:

  • The opportunity to promote your business in front of an audience of solo entrepreneurs

“Let’s Do It!” Host Committee Sponsor

Host Committee sponsors are invited to donate any combination of the following:

  • Appropriate ideas and resources for the event

  • Exposure to their business networks and lists

  • Attendance or send a representative to attend event planning meetings

  • First consideration as possible speaker at the event

  • The opportunity to promote your business in front of your target audience of solo entrepreneurs

  • Visibility and acknowledgement on event web site

  • Acknowledgement in Program Guide and other promotional materials

  • Expanding network of contacts in Atlanta area by joining with others on the host committee (future joint ventures and other projects definitely possible)
